This Privacy Policy explains how Latitude Jobs ("we", "us", "our"), operating the website at latitudedigital.co.uk, collects and uses your personal information when you use our job board. We are the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are & how to contact us
Latitude Jobs, United Kingdom. For any privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email hello@latitudedigital.co.uk.
Information we collect
- Job application details — when you apply for a job: your name, email address, phone number, town/postcode, right-to-work status, years of experience, any message you write, and a CV if you upload one.
- Job alert sign-ups — your email address and the job category you're interested in.
- Usage data — pages visited, device and browser information, and similar analytics data collected via cookies.
How we use your information
- To process your job application and pass your details to the relevant employer and/or recruitment agency so they can consider you for the role.
- To send you job alerts you have signed up for.
- To operate, maintain and improve the website.
- To display advertising that helps us provide the service for free.
Legal basis
We process your application and alert data on the basis of your consent (which you give by submitting the form) and our legitimate interest in operating a job board that connects candidates with employers. You can withdraw consent at any time (see "Your rights").
Who we share it with
- Employers and recruitment agencies — when you apply for a job, your application is shared with the employer or agency advertising or hiring for that role.
- Advertising partners — we use Google AdSense to show ads. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. See Google's advertising policies.
- Job data providers — some listings are supplied via third-party job feeds (such as Adzuna).
- Analytics providers — to understand how the site is used.
We never sell your personal data.
Cookies & advertising
We use cookies for analytics and advertising. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings, and manage cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep application and alert data only as long as needed to provide the service and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@latitudedigital.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
